Engineer by training settled in the region of “le Luberon” in France, I was dreaming of distant and demanding expeditions… A nice picture of an andean summit in Bolivia led me to the andean cordillera before turning my 40 years. I was looking for my real path of life and was looking for a new impulse. Those snowy summits fascinated me and I was dreaming of climbing. I decided to change my life settling definitely in Bolivia in 2006 in order to live my passion.
In 2011, we created Thaki Travel Agency with Jérôme. For this time, I am climbing the andean mountains and feel alive …

My favorites : I think there are too many…, I have good memories of the Mountain Illimani, its south side and its integral crossing, the Janq’u Uyu, the north peak of the Illampu and the Huanacuni in the Apolobamba Cordillera.

The country’s authenticity, the kindness of the inhabitants and especially the person who become my wife push me to leave definitively France and to move to the Andes. After studies in Tourism in La Paz and various profesional experiences, I become to work as guide and enjoy sharing my passion for Bolivia.
Then, I worked as logistics officer in a french travel agency in la Paz and finally decided to fly on my own and to create with Anne : Thaki Travel Agency which reflects our values. Besides being your field specialist, I will introduce you with great pleasure in the heart of the andean world!
